Twenty-two. Yup. I just turned 22 last Saturday. I'm 22 and I feel.. old. It still feels like I just finished my high school last year. Another year older just makes me feel like I'm getting closer to death. Every year is getting shorter never seem to find the time.
I told myself last year there will be no more birthday celebration after my 21st birthday. I don't feel like celebrating my birthday since then, for no reason. Maybe because I've never missed celebrating my birthday with my family and friends since I was a little girl so maybe now I feel it's time to stop. Or maybe I already got what I want. Or maybe.. I don't know.
There's too many 'maybe'. Maybe.

Ignore these unsure and unwanted feelings. Period.
Two weeks before my birthday, my plan was to go out with with my family and have a dinner. That's it, no further plan and it hasn't been clearly confirmed yet. Everyone seems to be very busy and sometimes plan is usually made at the last minute (2-3 days before). A week before my birthday, my cousin sister called and asked if we're free this coming Saturday. She wanted to invite us over for lunch or dinner and dengan muka tak malunya I said yeah probably we'll be free because it's my birthday. Lalala.
She planned the whole dinner and arranged everything. We've been told there's going to be a barbecue near the pool at our cousin brother's place. Barbecue. I love barbecue and I was kinda excited, it's been a while.
Abang Haikal and Kak Nai
Kak Nai has made almost all of them. Mama buat nasi tomato and Kak Emi buat fried pasta. Me? I baked my own birthday cake. It's my second time baking a red velvet cake, but I followed a different recipe. I used my aunt - Mama Ogy's recipe this time!

I wrote Happy Birthday on the cake, it should be centered but it's not. FAIL. Nak cover ke-tidak-center-an tulisan tu, tambah love banyak banyak kat atas tu.
Baking is fun but I'm not a big fan of cake. I usually get bored or muak after about two bites. And I am personally not a big chocolate fan – yes call me weird.
I had a good time and really enjoyed the food. Thank you for everything, Kak Nai, Abang Alfian, Abang Haikal and Kak Emi! Many thanks for your time, I really appreciate it.
