Winter Break

The long awaited break is finally here. It feels good to be home. Nothing can beat a home cooked meal and I would rather stay at home and eat my mama's cooking rather than going out to a restaurant or eating fast food. Unless I'm going out to have a little catch up with my friends tu lain cerita la.

I always think I'm going to be totally productive during winter break but then I never am. Dah balik rumah tu mesti la nak rest and destress myself! Hehe. This winter break I'm planning to:

- Take a family vacation.
- Meet friends and families.
- Visit a bookstore and hug the books.
- Read a lot of books. Get lost in a book.
- Take pictures. Take A LOT of pictures.
- Eat a lot of food like there's no tomorrow.
- Learn something new every day.
- Snorkeling!

Corals and colourful fish, the last time I went snorkeling when I was 15. I miss going to the beach though I tend to get burned easily, even with sunscreen on. I love the beauty of the underwater world, I wish I could dive deep in the ocean and explore. I'm afraid of sharks, but only in a water situation. My brother saw sharks before when he went snorkeling and diving, and my baby brother saw baby sharks so close to shore and he ran to my mum. Nasib baik. If you see a shark, don't panic. I'm afraid I won't be able to do that. I'll have a panic attack if I see a shark infront of me. Life is an ocean of experiences. Dive in, go deep, explore, and try to avoid the sharks.

Forget about the sharks. Turtles!

I've only seen one turtle so far, and it's leatherback. Turtles can swim faster than expected, as fast as humans can run on land. I wish I have a chance to touch a sea turtle. And for the love of God, please stop eating turtle eggs to save species from extinction. Turtles are arguably the most endangered of all the species that are facing threats of extinction, and almost everyone is aware of it.

I love turtles, they are amazing creatures.
I hope to swim with sea turtles someday.
